About this event
Kathi is one of a handful of true model makers keeping stop-motion animation alive. Her shop's artistry has graced films like “Paranorman,” “Kubo and the Two Strings,” and “The Boxtrolls.” In addition to her television and feature projects, Kathi’s work has appeared in ad campaigns for brands like “McDonald’s”, “Bosch”, "Nike", and "Nickelodeon" among many others. Join us at the new CLEAN digs in Boylan Heights to hear Kathi share her experiences as a fabricator and how she has adapted her process to ensure a time-consuming craft like stop-motion continues to thrive in a non-stop world.
