Welcome to the speaker proposal process for the upcoming HCTM conference on September 14, 2019, at Hawaii Baptist Academy. Please fill out this form with your propsal. The annual HCTM conference seeks a wide range of topics and ideas for preservice teachers and teachers from K-12.  

Proposal Submission Guidelines:
When completing the Proposal Submission Form, you will be asked to include the session title (100 characters maximum) and a session summary (3 to 7 sentences or 750 characters maximum).
 
Primary Presenter Discount:
If your proposal is selected, the Primary Speaker will receive a 100% discount on the conference fee in effect at the time of registration. All additional presenters must pay 100% of the regular conference fee if they wish to attend the conference. 
 
Proposal deadline: Friday, May 10, 2019
 
Speakers will be notified before May 31, 2019 about the acceptance of their proposals.

Hawaii Council of Teachers of Mathematics

The purposes of this organization shall be: (1) To provide teachers with opportunities for the exchange of ideas and materials regarding instruction in mathematics. (2) to further the cooperative study of ideas relating to the teaching of mathematics at the elementary, secondary, and college levels. (3) to foster more effective mathematics teaching at all levels of instruction in the schools of Hawaii by offering meetings and workshops of the types not available through other organizations and institutions in Hawaii. (4) to provide a medium for liaison with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
