About this Event

Join us at the Lifograph Speaker Series and Pitch event with a panel of founders and VCs representing Halogen Ventures ($10.4M fund), PopCom (raised $3.3M), Genius (raised $15M), and more.

Our guest speakers will be sharing tactics, strategies, successful pivot stories, and planning for 2021, then they will listen to your startup pitch. 

You can pitch at the event or just attend as a spectator to enjoy the founder and VC panel, pitch presentations, and participate in a couple of networking sessions as well.

ALEXA BINNS

Investor on Jesse Draper's team at Halogen Ventures

Alexa Binns is an Investor on Jesse Draper's team at Halogen Ventures where they invest in the top consumer technology startups with female founders. She is an investor with a talent for spotting the latest consumer trends and technology.

Halogen Ventures is a venture fund with a total of $10.4M.

Alexa is an Angel Investor at Chubbies, Flex, Mented, Sana Benefits, Chipper Cash, among others. And prior to Halogen Ventures, she was at Maven Ventures, another seed-stage venture fund focused on consumer tech.

She has an impressive track record as a startup consultant, consumer marketer, and angel investor with first-hand experience bringing brands to market to achieve massive scale. She launched the Cheeky brand with Target, as well as two national public health campaigns with MTV, Walgreens, and the NBA.

Alexa’s specialty is deploying the latest marketing techniques. She wrote her master’s thesis on how to build a brand on YouTube, was nominated for a Mashable Award for social media marketing with Foursquare, and helped sell the Twitch influencer marketing platform NoScope.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford with a degree in Public Health and has her MBA from UCLA Anderson.

She is known as the entrepreneur's secret weapon. She scaled a company from zero to million-dollar weekly sales, has been through 5 exits and sold her first startup to a public company for $28 million dollars. Now she helps entrepreneurs to start, scale and sell their companies too.

Head of Business Development at PopCom

Natasia Malaihollo is the Head of Business Development for PopCom, a tech company that builds software for automated retail, having $3.3 M raised from angels, VCs, Techstars and a crowd-equity campaign on StartupEngine.

At PopCom, Natasia leads sales and client-relation management, tracks new markets and emerging trends, and develops strategic partnerships to guide long-term business objectives.

Prior to PopCom, Natasia was the Cofounder of Wyzerr, a tech company that gamifies surveys. At Wyzerr, Natasia grew its’ customer base to over 2,100 small and large businesses in 42 countries in less than 2 years, and counts Google, Facebook, P&G, Unilever, Walmart, and Disney as clients.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Natasia was a patent specialist in Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley.

MAHBOD MOGHADAM

Founder at Genius and Everipedia

Mahbod Moghadam is an Internet Entrepreneur and Investor. He is the Founder of Genius, an app annotating the meaning of lyrics, and Everipedia.

Mahbod is Iranian but was born in Los Angeles. He is currently Angel Investing and looking to build a third app in Brooklyn.

He is a graduate of Yale University and Stanford Law School and is an accomplished pianist.
