About the BURN: For the first time in LA history, we will be releasing our fears, our past, and our differences in the burning of Seraphim: The Spirit of Unification at the 10th Annual Burning Man Regional Los Angeles Decompression Party (LA Decom) on October 13th. 12 stages, dance until you drop, 10,000 people in costume, inspiring art installations, 1pm until dawn Sunday, BURN scheduled for 2am.
LA Decom is a tradition to revisit the magic of the Playa. LA League of Arts (LALA) hopes to raise $30,000 to install an Educational Aquaponic Food Garden at Santee High School as part of their civic responsibility principle and as part of Burners Without Borders. LALA aims to build eco-friendly, healthy food gardens at local schools to feed the students and raise awareness of nutrition, sustainable farming, and the importance of education. 15% of the profits from LA Decom will go toward the Santee Garden.
