About this event
Come early to chat with our previous winners and see the amazing progress they have made! NOTE: Media will be in attendance and photos will be taken of the event.
Teams of Northern Beaches young people have generated ideas for inventions, apps, new businesses or community services and applied to be part of the live event. The chosen finalist teams will present their ‘pitches’ at this event called “Spark Tank’ and can win thousands of dollars in seed funding plus 6 weeks of business start-up coaching provided by successful entrepreneurs and local business consultants.
Running annually since 2019, the business pitch event, similar to the TV show Shark Tank®, is hosted by Share the Spark Inc., an ACNC approved charity based on the Northern Beaches that empowers young people to make life affirming choices. To participate in the event, each team must include at least one person they know who is going through a hard time.
The Spark Tank event will be held live at the Glen Street Theatre in Belrose on Thursday, October 13, to encourage young people to ignite their spark, follow their passion and look out for each other. Simple things like making a call, sharing a project or just being together can make all the difference.
Doors open at 6pm. Come early to chat with our previous winners and see the amazing progress they have made! This event is proudly sponsored by the Northern Beaches Council.
