Space to BE: Mindfulness and Dialogue in Community
Event Information
About this Event
We can often place a lot of weight and expectations on the start of a new year, but it is also important to remember that it is just the continuation of the prior year. With 2021 under way, we have already encountered acts of white supremacy, political violence, and continued threats to social justice. There is already a lot to hold and be with - just as there was in 2020. It is important that we create intentional space to pause, reflect, and process so that we can mentally reset and take action on how we want to show up as we step into what is next.
Join Soul Stories and Chapter BE as we create a community space for mindfulness, journaling, and reflective dialogue. We will be exploring our hearts and minds and asking ourselves the questions, "How do you want to BE in 2021? How do you want to show up for yourself and others as you move into this new year?
Your facilitators will be Kïrsten Blake from Chapter BE and Danny Mazur from Soul Stories.
$5-$10 suggested donation for the Zoom Link. However, if your resources are tight, DM us. No one will be turned away.
We will be journaling, so please bring paper and a pen with you!
