Come join us at the 1st Annual Space Coast Book Lovers Author Signing Event 2017, being held in beautiful Cocoa Beach, FL on June 1st – June 4th. We have some amazingly talented authors of all genres sure to provide you with several additions to your TBR list! Our goal is to bring you an intimate event designed to encourage one on one interactions with your favorite authors and to give you the opportunity to discover authors that you have not read yet.
This event has a recommended age of 18+.

To make hotel reservations for the event can be made from June 1, 2016 to May 1, 2017, after which rooms not reserved will be returned to general availability. For anyone wanting to come early or stay longer, if reserved by the dates listed, the quoted rates are available 3 days before and 3 days after the event. Note: Each event that furnishes food and/or open bar is for paying ticket holder for that activity. Only those people will be allowed to participate in the consumption of food & drinks. If you have family and/or friends traveling with you but are not paid ticket holders, please do not anticipate being able to slip them in with mindset that it will not “impact anything”. We have ordered and purchased according to tickets sold.
RSVP Reader Ticket - FREE - Signing up for an RSVP Reader Ticket is at no cost. By signing up in advance to let us know that you are planning to attend will ensure that you have access to the event, should we reach capacity. Book signing event is on Saturday, June 3rd from 10:00am – 1:00pm. As a thank you for letting us know that you are coming, this ticket also entitles you to a SCBL 2017 Tote bag with some exciting swag from our attending authors. You will also receive an Event Brochure and 1 Free Raffle Ticket w/purchase of another. In an effort to support our sponsored charity, Surfers for Autism, extra raffle tickets will be available for purchase at registration. You will also be able to participate in the photo booth. Registration for RSVP Reader Ticket holders begins at 9:00am. These tickets WILL NOT be available for sign up the day of the event. Proof of ID required.
General Admission Reader Ticket - FREE – No registration is required and the cost is FREE. General Admission allows you to be a part of the Saturday, June 3rd book signing from 10:00am – 1:00pm EST. You will receive an Event Brochure and are invited to participate in the Photo Booth. We strongly recommend ordering a RSVP Reader ticket (FREE). General admission will be available at the door ONLY if we have not reached our capacity limit.
VIP Reader Ticket - $20.00 – (All Day Saturday Ticket) The purchase of a VIP level ticket entitles you to the Early Bird entrance to the Saturday, June 3rd book signing, where you can visit with the authors prior to general admission entrance into the event. You are also invited to attend the Playin with the Babes Volleyball party and the evening Gimme S’mores Time with the Authors. These are fun get togethers with our authors, bloggers, and attending cover models. In addition, you will receive a SCBL 2017 tote bag with unique swag not given to the general admission, an autograph book to use while visiting with your favorite and new to you authors. You will receive 2 free raffle tickets. In an effort to support our sponsored charity, Surfers for Autism, extra raffle tickets will be available for purchase at registration. Registration for the VIP ticket holders begins on Saturday at 7:30 am. These tickets WILL NOT be available for purchase the day of the event. Proof of ID required.
GOLDEN VIP Reader Ticket - $75.00 - The purchase of a Golden VIP level ticket allows everything that VIP does on Saturday, however, in addition you are invited to attend the Thursday and Friday events. Thursday there is a Meet & Greet with the authors - open bar & hor d’oeuvres. On Friday, there are Author Mingles and Game Hours, in addition to a Dessert w/Bloggers event on Friday evening. Registration for the Golden VIP ticket holders begins on Thursday at 2:00pm, Friday at 8:00am or Saturday at 7:30 am. These tickets WILL NOT be available for purchase the day of the event. Proof of ID required.
Industry Professional - $75.00 - Includes Admission: Meet & Greet (Open Bar), 4 Workshops tailored to those attending, Author Mingles, Game Hour, Dessert w/Bloggers (Cash Bar), Early Bird Book Signing, Beach Party (Cash Bar), S’mores w/Authors (Cash Bar), Authors Brunch, Participate in Photo Booth.

Authors not signing at this event, Bloggers & Models not being featured at this event, publishers, photographers, editors, formatters, PAs, etc.) PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE SOME SOLICITATION GUIDELINES TO ENSURE THAT WE DO NOT TAKE AWAY THE PURPOSE OF THE EVENT!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
An ID is required for RSVP, VIP, and GOLDEN VIP Reader Tickets. ID must match name ticket is registered under - NO EXCEPTIONS. There is no age limit; however, due to some mature content we recommend a 18+ age.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is free in the International Palms Resort parking lot.
What can/can't I bring to SCBL2017?
Bring a positive attitude and an eagerness to meet your favorite and new to you authors. You can bring already purchased books to be signed; however, they must be validated at registration desk prior to entering the event. This may delay your entrance in a timely manner. We do recommend that you limit the books you bring or rotate them out from your hotel room.
We encourage you taking pictures and getting swag signed by authors for your memory making items - i.e. photo albums, autograph books, picture frames, etc. Our authors love signing everything. Please be courteous when asking for an author's signature and be respectful for a decline of signing body parts.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Please contact Teri Edney at firstname.lastname@example.org to transfer your ticket to another name. This must be done no later than Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We recommend that you bring a printed ticket for faster processing. A picture ID is required and can be used in lieu of the printed ticket.
What is the refund policy?
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No, the name must match the attendee. Please contact Teri Edney at email@example.com to transfer your ticket to another name. This must be done no later than Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
