School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg is hosting Expert Forum & Info Session in D.C. Day in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Expert Forum & Info Session Agenda:

10 - 10:30 a.m.: Registration, Breakfast, Welcome, Overview 

10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Thematic Focus Session
  • School of Public Affairs (SPA) academic programs breakout
  • Matchmaking between program lead faculty and stakeholders 
  • Potential collaboration  opportunities
  • Gain workforce requirements to optimize learning outcomes for our program and student placement success
  • Possible School of Public Affairs internship programs in D.C. 

12 – 1 p.m.: Luncheon Keynote and Q&A – Brian Harrell, Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
  • Critical Infrastructure Protection and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's new CISA agency

1 – 2:30  p.m.: School of Public Affairs  Experts Panel : SPA Insight on Current Policy Challenges
