Event Details

The front line staff of any spa hold its success or failure in their hands. This course boosts skills and knowledge for employees of every spa industry sector. It includes training in customer service, effective verbal presentation, spa-appropriate sales skills, interpersonal communication and problem solving, as well as resolving customer complaints. It also provides background of basic cosmetic chemistry and skin physiology, to help in the understanding of spa products.
The course is self-paced and includes our exclusive, original text, quizzes after each module, enriching assignments and a final assessment. Students who receive a passing score of 75% or better receive the certificate of completion. We suggest setting a pace of one module per week.
The six modules include:
Mastering the Mindset of World Class Service:   World Class Service happens when every member of a spa's team combines great core values with consistent, clear processes--and then elevates the entire experience to the level of delight. This inspiring session introduces spa employees and managers to the non-negotiable requirements for creating a world class service culture in the spa.
Mastering the Reservations Call: Turn your front desk from a cost center into a profit center. This module provides a clear process for making the most out of each reservations interaction with a guest, to boost customer satisfaction and revenue.
Mastering Rescheduling and Retail: How does the guest journey end at your spa? A feeble farewell? Turn this moment of truth into a positive experience that increases visit frequency, guest loyalty, and revenue. Your team will learn the language and process for ensuring that home care recommendations are offered and "closed," and take ownership of the "last impression".  
Mastering Complaint Resolution and Service Recovery: An upset customer can cause your front desk staff to freeze, or worse, become defensive. No spa can afford to pile up negative reviews, and even a handful can send potential clients scampering to your competitors. This module provides the skills needed to manage a customer meltdown and transform a service lapse into a loyalty-building, positive event. Confident, empowered staff members mean that busy spa managers can spend more of their time on building business rather than cleaning up disasters.
Communications and Problem Solving Skills for Spa Professionals: Spa managers spend too much of their day acting as referees for interpersonal conflicts and communication mishaps. This module helps employees master a communication toolkit that fosters teamwork and harmony, resulting in better employee retention and happier clients, too!
Selvice: Seven Steps to Abudant Sales and Stellar Customer Service: This proven process for managing the customer journey results in greater loyalty and higher sales. Selvice, or "Selling through Service" is a culturally-attuned set of practices that make guests feel great about your spa, including simple techniques to build rapport, discover what guests really want, and get optimal results and revenue.
