Sowing seeds for food or pleasure is an affordable and easy way to start new plants for the garden or patio. Seeds can be planted in a tray of soil and later transplanted into pots or they can be directly sown into the ground. Join Leu Gardens’ Executive Director Robert Bowden in a fun filled, hands on presentation about growing new plants from seed. Packets of flower and vegetable seed will be made available to everyone that attends.
Robert Bowden is the Director of Leu Gardens and author of Florida Top Ten Garden Guide by Sunset Books and Florida Fruit and Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Harvest the Best Edibles by Cool Springs Press.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
