We welcome everyone from across Michigan’s Great Southwest to join us for the southwest Michigan Salute To The Troops Charity Ball (formerly called the Southwest Michigan Military Ball). As the 4th annual fundraising event benefiting the organization Homes For Our Troops (HFOT), we have had the honor to raise over $50,000 in proceeds for HFOT in 2015 from donations and silent auction proceeds.

In the spirit of HFOT Mission - Building Home, Rebuilding Lives, please help us celebrate our veterans and the dynamic efforts of the Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) organization, providing mortgage-free, specially adapted homes.

This year, we are proud to announce keynote speaker Marine Corporal Christopher Van Etten - retired Infantryman with the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines who served in Sangin, Afghanistan. A 2017 HFOT home recipient, Chris is now a writer and model, noted for his contributing work on General Hospital and appearing in Jockey advertisement campaigns.

In addition, we are pleased to have Army SGT Michael Gower to represent Homes For Our Troops as a 2018 home build recipient in the state of Michigan. We will hear about the exciting journey and anticipation of the HFOT home being constructed for SGT Gower and his family.

• How do I get my tickets?

• What is the expected dress for this event

Guests are encouraged to dress in special occasion or formal evening attire or military uniform.

• Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No. This event is open to ALL community members and families are highly encouraged to attend.
Attendees under the age of 21 should be accompanied by a legal guardian in the cash bar and casino area(s).

• What's the refund policy?

Refunds are applicable up to 7 days prior to the day of the event.
Refunds are handled through the Eventbrite ticket service.

• Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We ask all attendees bring printed ticket and / or electronic ticket via the Eventbrite confirmation print or Eventbrite app on your smartphone. If you were included on another guests registration, please remember to leave your name and the name of the registered guest with the Check In volunteer(s).

• Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. Please be sure to leave your name and the name of the guest who has registered for this event with a Check In volunteer(s).
