A very special workshop in a very spacial place. The southern Oregon coast features an abundance of amazing sea stacks from Brookings to Bandon.
In addition to sea stacks, this workshop will also visit some very special venues including Blacklock Point, Cape Blanco (the farthest point west in the continental US), Cape Arago, Shore Acres, and Sunset Cove.
As an added bonus, I’ve planned this workshop during moonless nights when the Milky Way will be shining bright (sky conditions permitting). I will provide detailed instructions (written and in the field) on how to successfully photograph the stars.
You will learn to see more creatively through your camera, and how to use the camera as a tool. You will be given opportunities to experiment with composition, how to choose the right lens, and the importance how shutter speed and aperture affect an image and are used for creative effects. Most importantly, you will discover the different properties of natural light and how it affects your photographs.
