Early Bird, Space-holder Deposit $100.00 per person. Once you hold your space, we will confirm your reservation, and send you a confirmation of attendance with detailed itinerary for our journey.

COST: $2750.00 per person, Double Occupancy, 7-Night Accommodation, ($350.00 Single Supplement Fee if you prefer a private room, and not shared room) Pre and Post Nights in Paris and Toulouse can be arranged, for those who would like to extend their journey. Please let us know if you wish to add-on extra nights stays.

RESERVATIONS: Spaces fill quickly and are very limited to 10 participants only! (Minimum 5 Attendees)

AVAILABILITY: If space is still available, reservations will be accepted until final payment due date, but EARLY reservations are preferred!

Travel Insurance is required for each attendee by LaCacade. The overall cost for travel insurance depends on cost of your airfare. It is not included in the package price, but can be arranged for you. Please let us know if you need a quote for travel insurance.


Paula Coleman invites you on a magical journey to explore your creativity, delight your senses, and enjoy the art of living well in the South of France! Artisans making copper vessels, a 400 year old French Market , a freshwater stream flowing down the village street ~ these are just a few sights that await you in France during the summer season.

Our magical journey will begin upon our arrival in Toulouse, France. We will travel to the tiny medieval village of Durfort in the South of France. (about 1.5 hours drive from Tououse) This unspolied, authentic village that is seemingly untouched by time, is an artisan village located at the foot of a mountain gorge, in the Pyrenees mountain range. Durfort is known for their genuine, handmade copper vessels, where families have create these bespoke objects since the 15th Century.

Durfort is also home to our host for our weeklong retreat ~ LaCascade. Our delightful home-away-from-home, a 17th century French Country home, situated on a small river with a lovely waterfall off the outdoor terrace. We will enjoy many evenings together on the terrace as the waterfall fills the rooms with music.

During our week in France we will enjoy so many wonderful things that encourage you to relish in the art of living well, and inspiring your creativity within. Join us in the French Countryside for a week of creativity: open-air floral arranging with locally foraged greenery and blooms, creating French inspired bouquets, flower crowns, fine art botanical prints, flatlays, all while cultivating community with other creative people, and taking part in the relaxed French way of life. The retreat will be hosted amoungst fields, small villages, a river waterfall, and ancient towns. In this setting, we will deeply experience the charm of France. Fostering creativity and inspiration in a slow living environment. We will offer creative workshops focused on florals, nature, styling & scent. There will be ample time for you to create, explore, indulge, shop, rest, journal, and refresh your spirit. We will explore surrounding villages & markets, and dine with new friends. France is full of culture & charm, and this is the perfect time to savor a bit of local life.

With our setting next to a river, we will forage the grounds for creative inspiration to be used in our workshops. We will eat well, and look forward to dinners including fresh produce, and wine from the area. Daily meals prepared by our private Chef, complete with the freshest ingredients, and dessert with dinner. One day during our week, there will also be a culinary demonstration, offered by our private chef in an authentic French Kitchen! We will style our dinner table with our floral creations, and savor our culinary delights together.

We will be documenting our creative journey during our weeklong retreat, we will photograph each attendees creations in each workshop, and they will be yours to use for your portfolio. We will capture images of lasting beauty that will benefit you for years to come. And, during our workshops we will discuss styling techniques that you can use in the future to enhance your photos and your social media. You will also receive your very own custom styling kit to add an extra inspiration & beauty to your photos.

During our workshop we will create several styled shoots, utilizing live models to model our bouquets & headpieces and create many themes to enhance our creations. Also the use of props and period dress will be explored. And, we will brainstorm and create fantasy looks from our materials. Creating fabulous and fascinating headpieces, flower crowns, and wearable floral accents and costumes. We will learn about lighting & styling to create magical and dreamy photographs for your portfolio and discover what makes each styled shoot unique.

Through retreat, creative workshops, good food, and fellowship there will be a harmonious balance of inspiration, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

Paula Coleman: Owner & Principal Disgner of Elite Events and Flower Lark, Paula is a Floral Design & Styling expert with over 25 years experience in the Floral and Event Industry. Paula has created florals for many of the high-profile events of our time, including the Kentucky Derby, Breeders Cup, and PGA Championships. As well as provided destinctive flowers & styling for over 1000 weddings & events throughout her distinguised career. Paula is passionate about the natural world around us, and loves to share her knowledge for the floral & botanical arts. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Flights are the responsibility of each paricipant. Your final destination will be Toulouse, France. Airport Code: TLS After arriving in Toulouse, we have found the best way to get the full experience on our journey, is to rent a car and drive to Durfort. (1.5 Hour Drive From Toulouse Airport) Rental cars can be shared, and a weekly rental offers the best value. For those who DO NOT want to rent a car, we can arrange your transportation to Durfort by private car / airport transfer for an added fee. Currently the cost for airport transfer is 153.00 Euro for two passemgers. Please contact us before booking your flight to discuss your transportation options. If you decide NOT to rent a car or share a rental, during the week of our stay, if you would like to ride with me, during excursions, I can accommodate 1-2 passengers, provided you let me know in advance.

What can I bring into the event?

A suggested packing list will be provided for suitable clothing and packing tips. All supplies, materials, information, and tools will be provided in workshops. A good camera is a must!

What's the refund policy?

All payments are non-refundable, but are transferrable. In the case of an emergency cancellation, your space is transferrable to another person who wants your spot on the trip. Transfers must be for the same trip year. If we have individuals on a waiting list, we may try to fill the spot from the waiting list. We cannot guarantee that we can fill the spot for you.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. If you need to make any changes with your registration information, please contact us through email, and we will be happy to update your information.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Absolutely! If you discover that you are unable to travel, your space is transferrable to another individual.

Is it ok if the name on my registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. If for instance, a Credit Card name does not match the attendee. Please let us know the full name of the person who will be traveling, and an emergency contact for that individual.
