Description

Singer/songwriter from New York's Capital Region, Blue Wilder has been performing traditional folk and Americana for over forty years. She has recorded a few cds titled "Testing the Waters; and "Slate Hill From the Basement". Her music and curiosity has taken her across most of America, as well as parts of Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Her vocal muses include Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Taj Majal, and Van Morrison while her lyrical side is clearly influenced by a long line of storytellers from Guthrie to Gauthier. Blue has a wide repertoire including original songs and is known locally for leading chants at political rallies and for hosting sing-a-long events. In this one of a kind Listening Room concert, Blue will perform her unique style of "Riverboat Blues Folk" Don't miss this one of kind evening.
