The Royal Oak Jaycees will present the fourth annual South Oakland Chili Cook-Off from 6p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday Sept. 21 at the Royal Oak Farmers Market.
Local restaurants will enter their chili into the competition to earn of one of several titles, including Best of the Best, People's Choice and Most Original.
The South Oakland Chili Cook-Off also will include live music, a silent auction and local beer.
Proceeds from the Royal Oak Chili Cook-Off benefit the Boys & Girls Club of South Oakland County, Royal Parks and Recreaction and the Royal Oak Jaycees.
Admission includes 8 tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase for $1 each at the event.
Kids 12 and younger get free admission.
