LOCAL SPOTLIGHT SERIES: The local Spotlight Web Series is presented by SOFLOWEBFEST and hosted by Filmmakers Dudley Alexis & Joey Lamar. This evening highlights local Arthouse web series and short films from the Miami Film scene. This event is free to the public and the audience votes for the 2017 People’s Choice Award. The Art Exhibition in the lobby, Ode to Hip Hop is curated by MUCE, the Miami Urban Contemporary Experience.

Web Series Screenings, Panels, Meet & Greet, Exhibit, Fashion: SOFLOWEBFEST screens 40 of the best web series and short films from around the world. The festival a includes a dynamic workshop series for festival goers to learn and engage new innovations in the industry. This evening also serves as an opportunity for the Art and cinematic industry to meet and greet. The public will meet the producers and finalists of SOFLOWEBFEST alongside the curator and artists of the MUCE pop up exhibition.

Keynote speaker, OWN’s Stacy Ike, officially opens the weekend festivities of SOFLOWEBFEST 2017. A meet & greet with Stacy Ike closes the evening.

The evening culminates with an award ceremony to highlight the winners of the SOFLOWEBFEST 2017, hosted by the Art Prevails Project with the vibrant & quirky theme of 90's sensation: In living Color.

Artist Talk + Closing Concert
Theme: Gospel Ode to Hip Hop

Closing Concert: SOFLOWEBFEST partners with Now Or Neverland Art Fair to present the closing Artist talk with featured visual artist and winner of SOFLOWEBFEST. The talk is followed by Now or Neverland Hip Hop Gospel Explosion featuring the youth of Second Baptist Missionary Church, Theo’s Ministries, and Judah Ministries. This event is Free to the public.
