Event description

Description

A Regional Assembly is an annual meeting of each of the eight geographic regions of the diocese. The meeting is a time for governance, learning and fellowship. Each meeting is attended by the bishop and members of diocesan staff and also by the clergy, wardens and delegates from all congregations within the region. Sometimes the meetings for smaller regions are combined.

Offices open for election include Diocesan Council, the governing board of the diocese which meets monthly; Standing Committee, which serves as an advisory board to the bishop and must approve decision relating to property and deputies to the General Convention of the Episcopal Church.

More information about regional assemblies, which region your parish is in or standing for election are available on the website.
