Come to our Townhall meeting on April 28th 6:00 – 7:30pm at the Gardner Community Center. Here you’ll find out about the exciting wildlife in our creeks and rivers – salmon spawning activity, our local beaver family, how to spot otters, and more. Bring the kids – great family event.

Our Town Hall meeting - "Our watershed - a citizen's perspective" will include:

  • The Fall Chinook salmon spawning activity by Steve Holmes, SBCCC founder and Executive Director.
  • Learn about the beaver family that lives in Los Gatos Creek from Julie Kitzenberger Writer – Photographer.
  • Learn how to become an Otter Spotter from Megan Isadore – Executive Director and Co - Founder River Otter Ecology.
  • Get an update on SBCCC sponsored water testing program from the De Anza Environmental Studies Group.
  • Listen to a homelessness solution from Scott Van Gorden Project Manager of the San Jose Downtown Streets Team

All that and we’ll talk about how you can play a vital part in our mission to – Reclaim, Restore, and Revitalize our watershed.
