Event description

Description

South African Women's Alliance and Brand South Africa present the 4th Annual Celebration of South African Women's Day in Atlanta 2017. Men and Women across the world will gather to celebrate women's solidarity, strength and courage. They are the trailblazers and our heroines who have paved the way for many in South Africa, the African Diaspora and globally.

As we turn the focus to Aviation in 2017, we will honor Asnath Mahapa, South Africa's First Black Female Pilot. Mahapa was not content with just breaking barriers, she went further to open African College of Aviation to train and inspire a new generation of pilots.

The women concluded their demonstration by singing the now infamous song. Wathint' Abafazi, Wathint' Imbokodo'
