Come together for a beautiful summer evening of love, community, music, and connection to the heart through Kirtan.

About this event

Join the Dharma Brothers (Brendan and Riley Grossman), who are Flagstaff, AZ based artists and musicians, and Reiki Master Kathy Brook-Wong for a beautiful summer evening of love, community, music, and connection to the heart through Kirtan. Chanting Kirtan music is an ancient practice in Yoga that can bring powerful effects on the body, mind and soul.

In the garden sanctuary of a private home in Irvine, we will gather under the summer sky to meditate and chant Kirtan mantras in Sanskrit and in call-and-response style led by Brendan and Riley. They will also perform a few songs for us.

And Kathy will share about the restorative, balancing, and harmonizing properties of Reiki, the Japanese healing art form that helps us access Life Force Energy. She will also lead us in a brief self-Reiki healing practice as well as provide a Reiki healing for all.

Finally, we will enjoy a bonfire and vegetarian/vegan snacks while connecting to our own hearts and other with good-hearted people.

We are limiting this event to 25 people max at $15 a person.

Crystals and other small objects to put on the alter (to be infused with Reiki)

Dharma Brothers (Brendan and Riley Grossman)

Brendan and Riley are Flagstaff, AZ based artists and musicians, who, through Bhakti Yoga, found chanting (Kirtan) as a method to connect with love, joy, and people in truth. Through their practice, they create a space of complete freedom of self, devotion, and love. Brendan is a composer and multi-instrumentalist with an MM in Music Composition from Arizona State University and a BA in Music from Northern Arizona University. Riley is an illustrator and multi-instrumentalist who has been involved in art and music communities in and around Laguna Beach, Flagstaff, and Chicago. Kirtan serves as a method for Brendan and Riley to combine their musical abilities with their spiritual practice.
