SoundCloud's Next Wave documentary series journeys across six global cities in six months to explore the communities of emerging scenes that are embracing the service to connect, collaborate and create a new musical landscape.

To celebrate the launch, documentary stars Fat Nick and Lil Tracy play an exclusive show in L.A. with DJ support from Soraya LaPread.

Fat Nick

Together with lifelong best friend Pouya, Fat Nick is one-half of the rap duo who have steadily built a prolific underground following by independently releasing numerous projects and touring across America. Their most recent album, Drop Out Of School, has amassed over 15m+ plays on SoundCloud and has propelled Fat Nick to announce his first ever shows in Europe this fall.

Lil Tracy

Lil Tracy has recently been making inroads from underground internet prominence to something much greater. Since his 2014 debut, as the then Yung Bruh, the Virginia native has taken his weird outsider rap from SoundCloud into outer space, fusing emo melodies and the black-hearted attitude of goth with the world of trap. He is currently touring his latest project, the XOYO mixtape, and will stop off in LA on July 20 for this exclusive performance.

Soraya LaPread

Soraya is a New Zealand-born music producer and DJ. As the daughter of Commodores bassist Ronald LaPread, she grew up surrounded by musical legends and moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to study audio engineering, songwriting and production.
