Description
Trail Mix[ED] and End of the World Garden invite you to join them at an off grid location for an international 24 hour event of deep listening, wild camping, cyanotype making and live streaming at a secret location near Penryn. Part of Soundcamp 2018, an international event broadcasting the dawn chorus from hundreds of locations around the globe.
During the event their will be food, workshops, readings and listenings. Inside the barn there will be a broadcasting from soundtent.org of dawn as it traverses the globe. At sunrise we will be hooking up our Raspberry Pi, Switching on our roof top wi-fi box and hoping to pick up enough 4G to join a global collection of artists, enthusiasts and geeks in streaming one perpetual dawn for one entire sweep around the sun. A central bell tent will be equipped with a small library and battery powered record player with a select collection of field recordings and abstract records to peruse.
Stuart Robinson will be running a Cyanotype workshop on Saturday afternoon. stuartrobinson.net
