Description
In the year 2032, a new disorder called Sound Syndrome aka SS is rumored to be affecting various citizens in New York City. According to reports, SS begins when a victim falls into a deep coma after a traumatic event. Subsquently, victims experience llusions stemming from all sounds in their immediate surroundings. While the general public believes it's just media propaganda, there is an underground group of believers who warn that the government is harshly experimenting on SS victims against their families' wishes to find a cure. The police are on the hunt for Dr. Rhodes, credited for discovering the disorder, who is rumored to be illegally treating and hiding SS victims from the government.
While the news of SS spreads, a young woman named Leona is in the midst of planning her wedding. One night, after a heated argument with her fiance Marc, she learns of his affair with her best friend Alva. The news sends Leona plunging into Sound Syndrome. While her life is in jeopardy, Marc must find Dr. Rhodes to seek advice and convince Alva to help him bring Leona back to reality before its too late…
