Description
The DC Listening Lounge audio collective has been meeting montly in living rooms across the DC area since 2003 to listen together to audio of all types (music, storytelling, oral history, video game design, found sound, etc) and to continue a conversation about creative sonic expression.
Join us at Sound Scene for a "Mini Lounge." We'll sit down together in a quiet corner of the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, a DCLL member will facilitate this small group listening experience. Feel free to bring your own audio to share (please limit clips to 3 minutes or less).

*Each Mini Listening Lounge workshop will be capped at 20 people. Participation will be on a first come, first served basis.
The "Mini Listening Lounge," is a workshop of Sound Scene: Mapping Memory, an interactive audio art installation July 7th and 8th, 2018. Curated and produced by the DC Listening Lounge and the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden with support from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
