Who We Are: Co-Founder Anthony Duncan, lost his younger sister to suicide 7 years ago and he was silent about it until he found his voice. Deciding to use this experience to give back to his community, he founded DEAD THE SILENCE with his childhood best friend, Osadeba Omokaro.

Since then, DTS has grown into a movement to bring awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. DEAD THE SILENCE is a social initiative; a call to action to start speaking out on the burdens we have been carrying for too long. Through mental health workshops, panel and discussion events, and our upcoming documentary, DEAD THE SILENCE is committed creating a space for unspoken mental health issues and resources for healing and support.

Birthday Tribute:

Co-founder Anthony Duncan's sister, Ashley Duncan was born on July 18, 1994 and passed on January 13th, 2013. During this event, we will commemorate and honor her life and her story.
