THE HEALING POWER OF SOUND
HIMALAYAN SINGING BOWLS
WITH GUY YAIR BEIDER
All matter is energy vibrating at different frequencies. By altering the rate of vibration we can change the structure of matter, including healing ourselves by restoring the normal vibrational frequencies of out-of-harmony parts of the body.
Our body has its own built-in healing system, but emotional stress and trauma can make us “out of tune” with our complex physical and subtle bodies. Sounds and music are powerful tools for bringing our physical, psychological and spiritual selves back into harmony. The special frequencies and sound patterns produced by the singing bowls have been shown to affect remarkable and swift improvements with physical, mental and emotional issues.
Long known only to the initiated, the singing bowls have been used since ancient times in India and the Himalayas for their healing properties. No training, no prior experience with meditation is required to feel the healing power of the singing bowls. All that’s needed is to relax and immerse yourself in the sound. Just let yourself be.
Guy Yair Beider is highly trained in the Himalayan sound healing arts and holds a Singing Bowls Master Level certification. He has performed numerous workshops, sound meditations and concerts, and also conducts private healing sessions.
Stephanie Hope will also join in to lead some gentle movement/meditation/energy work and possible Reiki treatments for those interested.
Bring a yoga mat or towel to lie down for the performance.
