Gain insight into ocean health as experts talk with Jeff Renner about challenges faced by marine creatures—and opportunities to heal and protect our marine environment. Audience participation encourages lively dialogue. Events take place at the Seattle Aquarium in the Ackerley Foundation Puget Sound Hall.

Doors open at 7pm; admission includes a reception with light refreshments.

Enjoy behind-the-scenes stories from the 40-year career of the Seattle Aquarium’s own Director of Life Sciences C.J. Casson. You’ll learn about the mystery fish that led C.J. to his career path, his years as the northern sea otter studbook keeper and accreditation commissioner for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, his work to rescue stranded animals after the Valdez oil spill—and much, much more.
