There are so many benefits to health and wellbeing that can be achieved with deep relaxation, including reduced stress and anxiety, less muscle tension and physical pain, as well as an increased sense of wellbeing and a positive mood state.
A sound bath is a deeply pleasureable experience where you can either lie down, or sit in a chair, and allow the sounds of himalayan singing bowls, gong, crystal singing bowls and gentle percussion to wash over you, and induce a deep state of relaxation.
There are some contraindications. If you answer yes to any of the following, but really want to attend a sounbd bath, please message me to discuss your individual situation. In certain circumstances, it may still be possible for you to attend.

ATTENDING A SOUNDBATH - WHAT TO BRING
* PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE START TIME
* Wear warm, comfortable clothing, fluffy socks & jumpers. It is better to be too warm than cold
* Bring an eye mask or eye pillow if you have one. This makes it easier "to block the outside world out".
* Bring a yoga mat, a blanket to cover yourself with and an extra blanket to lie on for added comfort.
* Pregnant women who are over 12 weeks are welcome to attend. Do please check with your midwife, however, the instruments are not placed directly onto you, and you can choose to lie further away from them. It is advised that pregnant women do not lie on their back, especially in the third trimester, so please do bring additional supports with you, so that you are able to lie on your left hand side comfortably.
* Bring props, a bolster or pillow if any parts of your body need propping up. This is particularly important for pregnant women. It is advisable to put a pillow under your knees for added lower back support.
* Bring a water bottle
SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE THE SOUND BATH
* Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. Soundwaves travel better through water. When you are well hydrated, you will have a better experience.
* Eat light and healthy food before the sound bath.
* Set your intentions and be positive.
* Settle yourself in the space with a calm mind and enjoy the experience.
