Soulful Saturdays-Renewal

Soulful Saturdays are exactly that - fun, soulful, and community-building social gatherings focused on cultivating connection and diversity in San Diego. Our events include dinner, drinks, lots of laughter, and connection with others who value diversity, safe space, and a welcoming and warm atmosphere.

Soulful Saturdays are usually themed and we are thrilled to present that our next quarterly event is all about RENEWAL.

Open Mic

You get the mic and the topic is Renewal! We want to hear your spoken word, musical performance, poetry, or letters to yourself (or someone else). Anything you want to say, sing, or play is welcomed. Simply observing and enjoying the entertainment is fine too!

Food

We are so close to Cinco de Mayo that are celebrating that also. We will have tacos made onsite - vegetarian options will be available.

Fun

Fun and connection are our consistent feedback and what brings people back to the Soulful Saturday community. These gatherings are all about a moment to unwind, stress-relieving laughter, great conversation, and a chance to connect with new and existing friends in a safe and inclusive environment.

Host

Lisane Basquiat is the Founder and CEO of Shaping Freedom.

Lisane trains individuals on how to gain empowerment through internal congruence and spiritual alignment, resulting in healthier familial dynamics and legacy. She helps people who are seeking ways to feel freer, be more empowered and aligned, and to have better results in their professional endeavors and personal relationships.

Board Certified by the Association of Integrative Psychology, Lisane Basquiat is a Master Practitioner of Mental and Emotional Release® (MER) Therapy, a Master Reiki Practitioner, an Accredited Energy Leadership Coach and founder of the personal growth company Shaping Freedom®. The former corporate executive has been a certified coach since 2004.
