Dr. Ojelade discusses the healing power of connecting with your ancestral lineage. Explore how unresolved issues within your family line can block your personal success and psychological wellbeing. Learn new methods for making ancestral connections and using this power to transform your life.


About the Presenters:

Ifetayo Ojelade, PhD | Executive Director of A Healing Paradigm LLC

Dr. Ifetayo Ojelade earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University. In addition, she earned her Bachelor's Degree is Business Administration from Florida A&M University. Dr. Ojelade was initiated as an awo Ifa by Agbonbon Awo Osogbo Ifakayode Faniyi in Osun State Nigeria. As a licensed psychologist, she holds a specific interest in indigenous African healing practices. Dr. Ojelade is the founder and Executive Director of A Healing Paradigm, LLC; a wellness center providing counseling, psychological testing, wellness and educational programming for the entire family. She is the author of Sacred Healing Journey: Soul Food for Survivor's of Abuse.


Host

Amina Long, MS | Psychotherapist & Psychometrist at A Healing Paradigm, LLC

Ms. Amina Long received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She then continued her education and earned a Master's degree in Community Psychology from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU). While attending FAMU, her training was dedicated to applying psychology to the experiences of people of African descent and her experience was committed to the wellness and holistic healing of the youth.
