Description

DID YOU KNOW:

Over 80% of Black Women have fibroids AND are about 3 times more likely than white women to develop fibroids?

African women have often been taught that painful and heavy periods are “par for the course”

African American women are enduring the harsh symptoms of challenging uterine health such as abdominal bloating, prolonged periods, anemia, painful sex, difficulties getting pregnant, etc and aren’t finding any relief other than suggested surgeries, etc.

S.O.S. (Sisters Over Suffering) will provide a safe environment to discuss questions and challenges with uterine health FREE of panel discussions.
S.O.S. is a workshop geared toward creating a safe environment for women, specifically women of color to discuss the history of their uterine health with others experiencing the same systems while also working together to create tools and tactics to
*Advocate for themselves to their health care providers
*Understand their uterine health better
*Have a community of sisters available to share and encourage them on their journey to quality uterine health.
