Sophomore Summit is a day-long leadership conference for secon-year students at Georgia Tech. Summit is designed to provide students a time for peer-to-peer networking, assist them in creating a sense of purpose in college and life, develop goals for the duration of their time at Tech, and provide an opportunity for student and faculty/staff interaction.
Summit will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2014. The conference will feature a variety of programming, including small group time, breakout sessions, and large group discussions. Included in the cost are two meals (breakfast and lunch) and the Sophomore Summit t-shirt.
When & Where
New Student & Sophomore Programs
In collaboration with campus departments and academic units, the Office of New Student and Sophomore Programs offers programs and services to support sophomore success and meet the unique needs of students during this critical academic transition. The overall goals of these programs are to help sophomores in: managing and succeeding with sophomore year courses, moving from exploration to decision-making about majors and careers, developing meaningful relationships on-campus and beyond, pursuing involvement and leadership opportunities, and creating a sophomore class identity.
