Children with special needs and their families are invited to join us on Sunday, December 4 at Connecticut Post Mall in Milford as we partner with Austism Speaks to host our annual Soothing Santa event. This an opportunity for children with Autism and other special needs (and their siblings) to visit with Santa in a more soothing and sensory-friendly environment than what is typically associated with a shopping mall environment during the Holiday Season.
During Soothing Santa, families will enjoy a quiet visit with Santa supported by no overhead mall radio or audible music from nearby stores, no long lines and lower shopper traffic. Children will be entertained with special sensory-friendly activities nearby while they wait*.
Space is limited and there are 3 time slots to choose from (8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.) Please only reserve ONE TICKET per family. Time slots are available on a first come first serve basis and you must select at least one.
The Santa Set is located in center court on the first floor in between Macy's and JCPenney. For easy access, we recommend parking on the ground level of the red garage next to Macy's (on the route 1 side of the mall). From there enter through door 3. At the end of the corridor make a right to head toward center court.
Regular packages & pricing from Noerr Photo apply, ranging from $22-29.
* Please note: Childcare is not provided as part of the event experience. Parents/grandparents/caregivers should remain with their children at all times. *
