Sonoma Home Winemakers Celebration
Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PDT)
PLEASE PUCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR STARTING AT 2:00 TODAY
The Sonoma Home Winemakers will host its 8th Annual Sonoma Home Winemakers Celebration on September 7, 2013. This event normally features wines from Sonoma's home winemakers, however, the State of California has started to enforce laws that prohibit us from pouring our wine for the public. Instead of cancelling the event, we are going to change the format slightly and pour commercial wines. Stay tuned for a list of featured wineries.
Hosted by the Sonoma Home Winemakers and the Sonoma Valley High School Boosters, all proceeds for this event benefit SVHS.

When & Where
Sonoma Home Winemakers
The Sonoma Home Winemakers, formerly known as the Valley of the Moon Dilettante Enological Society (VOMDES), are a group of home winemakers whose charter is to promote the fine art of making great wine and share information amongst its members.
We grow our grapes in our private vineyards, acquire grapes from local sources, or just help out fellow members with their winemaking. Our varietals range from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, to the distinctive Tanat, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, and Mourvedre.
We meet once a month to share ideas and information, evaluate each others wines, and host a speaker from the wine community. If you would like to join us, just come to the next meeting – dues are only $36 a year. And if you’re a member of the wine community with knowledge to share with our group, please let us know.
