Help your child discover one of the world's greatest forms of self-expression with this informative hands-on class! Any musically-inclined teen or tween can attend. All you need is a portable electronic keyboard for class. We will cover all aspects of songwriting: basic music theory, melody writing, background chords, and even lyrics. Each participant will walk away with an individually composed song they will be proud of. Also, students will have the opportunity to perform his or her song for fellow classmates and video-camera-weilding parents. Note: Some basic musical experience (on any instrument) is preferred but not required.
