Join us for a live performance of stories and "answer songs" featuring Joyce Carol Oates, Tony Trischka, Jennifer Marks and Ben Arthur!

About this Event

In this live reading and music series an author reads a story and two songwriters perform “answer songs.” On October 29th legendary author Joyce Carol Oates will read her short story, “A Brutal Murder in a Public Place,” and songwriters Tony Trischka and Jennifer Marks will perform songs written in response. SongWriter is hosted by Ben Arthur, and is released as a podcast and excerpted on the syndicated radio program Acoustic Cafe for 2M listeners.

Where: Buunni Performance space at 4961 Broadway between 207th Street and Isham. A Train to 207th Street (last stop).

When: October 29th, 7:30pm

Cost: $10 (suggested donation)
