Isabel Pérez Dobarro has appeared in solo recitals and chamber music concerts at venues in New York City such as Carnegie Hall (Stern and Weill), Steinway Hall, Tenri Cultural Institute, Yamaha Center, DiMenna Center, Liederkranz Foundation, Frederick Loewe Theater, Provincetown Playhouse, and Columbia University Faculty House; and abroad at Rachmaninoff Hall at Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Sala Manuel de Falla, Ateneo de Madrid, Sala Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli in Bolzano (Italy) among others. She is a prize winner at the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition (2nd Prize), de Ciutat de Berga International Competition (1st prize) and the Cidade do Fundao Piano International Competition (1st prize), as well as the recipient of the Jorge Bolet Distinguished Performer Award at SBPF.
Isabel has been part of the Gijon International Piano Festival (Spain), the International Festival for Contemporary Performance at Mannes, the Stony Brook Piano Festival, Musikeon and Musica en Compostela (Spain), performing in recitals and master classes with Choon Mo Kang, Alessio Bax, Lucille Chung, Julian Martin, Dominique Weber, Andreas Klein, Nicholas Hodges, Daniel Gortler, Yael Weiss, Marc Durand, Luca Chiantore, James Giles, Marc Ponthus, Amy Gustafson, and Sara Davis Buechner.
Isabel Perez Dobarro is a Phd student in Piano Performance at New York University Steinhardt, where she studies with Dr. Marilyn Nonken and Prof. Alexander Kobrin and also served as an Adjunct Instructor in Piano. She holds a Professional Studies degree from Manhattan School of Music studying with Dr. Solomon Mikowsky, a Master's degree from New York University studying with Dr. Jose Ramon Mendez and a Bachelor's degree from Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid studying with Dr. Elena Orobio.
Isabel Pérez Dobarro is part of the Executive Board of the Piano Teachers Congress of New York, and co-chair of its Honors Program. She is also a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honors Society in Education, where she is part of the Public Policy Committee. She is the Global Event Coordinator at the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth Arts Initiative.
