About this event
Come join Caleb McCoy and OAK musicians, alongside some amazing leaders in the city as we celebrate SOMETHING NEW! A new album, new community initiatives, and new and practical ways to get educated and get involved with restorative work in Boston.
There will be a concert, networking and appetizers, and voices from the city who will edify and encourage us to get involved in different areas of civic engagement. You can purchase a general admission ticket for $15, or you can purchase a ticket at a higher price, donating the difference to the leaders/organizations that are represented. The ticket purchases/donations WILL NOT be tax deductible. Partners represented at this event include:
- Dr. Emmett Price - Black Christian Experience Resource Center
- Carla Booker - Traction House
- Nakia Reyes - Neighborhood Montessori
- Christian Grant - Young Life/Boston Project
- Maka Osman and Sarah Blumenshine - RIAC Boston and Intercultural Ministries (a program of Emmanuel Gospel Center)
- Valerie Copeland - Neighborhood Church Of Dorchester
To keep everyone safe as we enter the winter season, all attendees must show PROOF OF VACCINATION or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of show time. A picture of your vaccine card or showing your negative COVID test results on your phone will suffice. Also, we are asking all guests to wear masks when not eating, drinking, or speaking from the front.
Caleb McCoy recently released Render Unto Caesar, an album inspired by the phrase derived from the New Testament Gospels that means "pay your taxes!" But Caleb's album explores this further as we all discern our contribution to a society with social, economic, and political ills.
We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, please email Wanda at: wnazario@egc.org.
