Greetings,

It is our pleasure to announce The Greater New England 6th Annual International Day of Prayer Conference. A day filled with spiritual uplifting messages, music, prayer, fellowshipping. We have four dynamic women of God that is prepared to offer you a day you won't forget. Join us!

Reverend Viviens Stephens-Hicks

Rev. Vivian Stephens-Hicks is a child of God, the wife of Deacon Frankie Hicks and the mother of one child (Brandon). She was called by God to the Gospel Ministry and was licensed to preach in December of 2000. She then proceeded to serve as an Associate Minister for the next 17 years, most recently serving at New Hope Baptist Church in Hyde Park, MA for the last ten of those years. Rev. Hicks was called as pastor of Lily of the Valley Baptist Church in Mattapan, MA, and was installed in December of 2017. In addition to her service of the local church, Rev. Hicks also serves as the Dean of the Congress of Christian Education, which is an auxiliary of the United Baptist Convention of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Further, as a means of giving back to the community in which she lives, Rev. Hicks currently serves in the role of Chaplain Aid in the Pastoral Care Department at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA.

Chaplain Bessie Ratliff-White

Bessie Ratliff-White was born in Oakland, California to Luke and Robertha Ratliff. Her mother was a Seventh-Day Adventist, and raised 6 girls to honor God and attend church regularly, even though there was no vehicle in the family for years. Bessie loved God at an early age and was baptized into the church at the age of 12. She worked faithfully in the church and became a youth leader using her talents in singing, speaking, acting and conducting programs.

Bessie attended public schools from elementary to high school, because finances were low in her family. She decided to attend Oakwood College, because she wanted a Christian education. In the summer of 1970, she became a Literature Evangelist and worked her way through college, selling magazines, and teaching music at Anna Knight Elementary School. There, she started to pursue a Music Education degree. The degree was no longer available at the college, so she continued to study music and education classes. During her advanced Jr. year in college she was inspired to change her vocational plans and study to become a Professional Bible Instructor. She received an Associate Degree in Bible Instructorship.

Sister Jean Brown

Jean Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Adjunct Professor at a state university in New Jersey. She is a Singing Evangelist to whom God has given the opportunity to represent him in ministry internationally.

She also has the opportunity to minister to youth groups, women’s Ministry conferences and retreats, Family Life settings and community conferences.

When Jean is not singing, speaking or mentoring, she is enjoying her time with her husband of 31 years and her two grandchildren.

Pastor Rebecca Davis

Rebecca Davis was born and raised in both Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky (respectively). It was there, in Louisville and at the beginning of high school, that she was baptized into the Seventh day Adventist church having been raised Catholic during her early childhood years. After graduating high school circumstances would have it that Rebecca would get the opportunity to attend her first Adventist academic institution-Oakwood University. Rebecca entered Oakwood as a Biochemistry major. However, during fall semester of her sophomore year Rebecca responded to an ALTAR call that would ALTER her life forever! It was there that she gave her life totally to the Lord Jesus Christ. In
