About the Film
The "Something in the Water" documentary is a stunning mosaic of America in a search for common ground. Filmmakers Jeri Wachter and Joseph C. Stillman traveled 16,500 miles to 30 states in fifty days to speak with 200 people to hear the perspectives of a diverse group of Americans from across the country at an unprecedented time in the recent history of the United States. Their testimonies tell an important story about our country, supported by historically relevant research to discuss topics that deeply impact our society and affect relationships in our communities, workplaces, schools, neighbors, friends, and families. We hope you feel moved, learn something new, and find a surprise in your fellow Americans. The film has shown to move audiences to profound conversations on issues talked about in the film. The documentary is 100 minutes long and appropriate for ages 14 to 103.
