About this event
The opening will be at 5:30 p.m.: Students from Cynthia Roland's piano studio will serenade us with their piano tunes. Emcee Tama Brisbane will host the event with her dynamic spoken word poetry. Jodavi will lead the Stockton Soul Orchestra in playing some of his original songs as well as Soulful Christmas Hits from artists such as Donny Hathaway, Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin. In addition, there will be a full choir comprised of local high school students on two songs: Pastime Paradise/Gangster's Paradise, and Farkhunda.
