Event description

Description

Big White Shed bring you an evening packed with poets they have published, poets they are about to publish and poets they would like to see published.

Doors open at 7pm - performances start at 7.30pm - come and eat cake and quaff beverages, sit back and listen to a shed-load of wonderful poets, then stay on to have a chat and find out what being published by a small independent press is really like... perhaps you'll be next out of the shed and into print.

This is a 'pay what you feel' event.

As part of Nottingham Poetry Festival we bring you a great line-up: Big White Shed founder Anne Holloway, with poets Jim Hall, Neal Pike, Chris McLoughlin, Trevor Wright, Hayley Green, Richard C Bower and Caroline Adlam - all published last year - PLUS - Stephen Thomas who is about to be published any week now.

Each Big White Shed poet has nominated someone they would love to see in print: Milla Tebbs, Amina Bhatti, Midnight Shelley, Bridie Squires, Clare Stewart and Margaret Gosley.
