The  Solving for X  Workshop

Is "networking" a dirty word for you?

It is for a lot of people. This class is not about the networking you know. It's about the networking that you don't.

Careers in the arts are built and survive on relationships. In order to develop those crucial connections you need to be a relationship architect and use the tools that you have to connect with the contacts you need.

This workshop is about finding and using those tools so that you are on the tip of everyone's tongue in your industry.

You'll learn how to tap into the network that you currently have and how to grow that network to help you reach your goals.

You'll learn how to turn a one on one meeting into a fountain of opportunity.

You'll learn about the psychological principals that are running behind the scenes of every interaction you have with a member of the industry.

Most importantly, you'll learn about managing your relationships so you can get the most out the network you currently have and the network you have yet to build.

The next workshop will be Saturday June 23rd  from 10am-12pm

Seating is strictly limited.

The Location will be at Paul Michael's The Network Studios on 242 West 36th st.

Schedule 10am-11:30am- Workshop 11:30-12pm-Active networking

See below for what others had to say about the seminar.

"Whether you consider yourself a social butterfly or socially awkward, Solving for X has something for everyone. Today it's all about “who you know,” but nobody ever tells you “how you know.” Michael breaks down the idea of networking into manageable ideas and then has you implement them through fun exercises. It's a lesson in anti-schmoozing. It really helped me realize where my strengths lie and what I need to work on so that I can make the best of building relationships with those within the industry. And on top of it, he's super awesome! So that helps, too. :)"- Sarah Jacobs- Actress

"Even if you think you are a great networker, I highly recommend this class! Mike delves so much deeper than how to effectively schmooze at a social event. ---Mara Lee Gilbert- Actress

"If you are feeling lost or completely overwhelmed in this industry (and maybe find yourself stuck in approach/avoidance mode), then this is the class for you!  I felt inspired, rebooted, and completely recharged. I feel like I have a new understanding of "networking," - Brittany Kriger- Actress

"It was refreshing to be with so many people with great goals and aspirations.  I definitely feel it was a good investment for me. "- Megan Hartig -actress

"I really liked the exercises with people and the review/reflection of how we did. That really helped me gained some perspective on how I was networking." - Orion Delwaterman- actor

" I appreciated the fact that the information you offered did indeed cross all disciplines."- Ted Kusio- Tech entrepreneur

"All in all - the class was very successful for me. It gave me a first hand look at my comfort and non-comfort zones.   I'd recommend the class to others for sure." - Jennifer Conley Darling- Producer

"Right after the workshop I had a shmoozy holiday party to attend and I felt super comfortable. Thank you, thank you!"- Christine Miller- Yoga Instructor

"Michael gave us helpful hints, then we immediately put them to practice - it was a great way to look for "open doors" and meet new friends in the industry."- Lilli Wosk- Musical Director and Vocal Coach

"We actually got to get onto our feet and put this into practice!  It was never a preachy, talkie workshop, and Everyone got to participate."- Amanda Marino- Actress

"Thank you for giving me so much to think about!"
     - Alden Lapaglia- Choreographer

"Solving for X served as an excellent tool to help jump start my career. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to up their game and grow their business." - Kennon Hulett- director and film editor
