Event description
A conference for solo polyamorous people and those who love them

About this event

******As the months have unfolded since we first postponed SoPoCo20 to October, it has become clear that due the pandemic we will not be able to hold this event safely in person this year. Our planning team has decided to again postpone this event until at least Fall 2021. All tickets purchased can be used for the future event, and refunds can also be requested by emailing We apologize for the change, and hope that everyone is safe and well.******

Join Us for Solo Polyamory Conference 2020! #sopoco2020

Are you new to polyamory and exploring the many possible configurations, or been practicing honest non-monogamy for decades? Regardless of where you are on the experience spectrum, you’ll appreciate the support, community, camaraderie, hospitality, and awesome keynote speakers we’re assembling for your enjoyment, learning, and growth.

Building on 2017's inaugural worldwide event in Vancouver BC, we've been to Seattle, San Francisco, and now we're coming to the east coast! This is your opportunity to meet other solo non-monogamous people and share real life experiences!

Taking place the weekend of October 17-18th at Energi Life, this conference includes:

social events (details coming together)

keynote speeches

unconference-style sessions in which participants offer their own discussions, workshops and skills sharing.

After registering, please let us know if you already have such a session in mind, as this will help us to organize and promote the conference. The organizing committee would also like to know if you have interest in being a volunteer, sponsor, or donor!

PLUS $135 US. This participation level makes scholarships available for those who might not otherwise be able to join in due to financial limitation. Your generosity is appreciated.

SCHOLARSHIP: $75 US. This ticket level is specifically provided for those who could not participate at the standard level. We trust your good judgment.

Early bird discount of $20 US is available through August 2020 -- lock in your ticket now to save.

All tickets include:

Participation in all conference elements

Tea and coffee service

Buffet lunch on Saturday and Sunday

Commemorative item

Tickets do not include:

The venue has no stairs, and is on the ground floor of the building. There is one restroom, which is gender neutral, and it is wheelchair accessible. It is located 2 blocks (.2 miles) from the 14 St-Union Square subway station. The station has an elevator at the northeast corner of 14th Street and Park Avenue South (Union Square East), which can be reached on the L, N, Q, R, and W trains. Nearby bus connections include M1, M2, and M3, M14A Select Bus Service, and M14D Select Bus Service.

The venue, while on a busy street, is quiet inside, and we will be the only group using the space. The lighting is not very intense, and the environment will be scent-free. We will have microphones for use, as well as a projector.

Lunches will include protein rich options for vegan, gluten free, and nut allergens.

We have three tiers of pricing to allow for scholarship tickets. If you would like to discuss further pricing or scholarship options, please contact the organizers.

We will have a peer support team on site to assist with any emotional support that may be needed during the event. We will have two quiet areas, in two small rooms that also have beds in them. The beds take up most of the rooms, so they may be difficult to navigate for some. There are also two parks nearby that can be nice to visit (Washington Square Park and Union Square Park).

Please tell us if you’d benefit from accommodations for hearing, sight, or other access needs. Seating for most sizes and bodies provided.

What else would make this event better for you? Please reach out to our planning team at if you have any disability-related concerns accessing the Unconference, or would like to share ways we could make this event better for you.

The organizers are providing for attendee communication/cooperation but cannot take responsibility for these logistics. There will be a spreadsheet provided in an email.

This is being run as a non-profit event. Any surplus funds will be donated to charity.

We acknowledge this event is taking place on Lenape land
