Growing Home is a nonprofit social enterprise focused on empowering people and communities with Chicago’s first USDA-Certified Organic, high-production urban farms. With two farms in Englewood, Growing Home seeks to operate, promote, and demonstrate the use of organic agriculture as a vehicle for job training, employment, and community development.

We're THRILLED to have the delicious kitchen prowess of Nathan Sears (D.A.S./Radler), Scott Manley (Table, Donkey, and Stick), John Boisse (Perennial Virant), John Hagedorn (Sprout), Dennis Stover (formery of Longman & Eagle and Bigstar), and Carlo Lamagna (Benny's Chop House). Slagel Farms and the Underground Food Collective will provide quality meats and charcuterie. Other nosh-ing opportunities provided by Cookies and Carnitas. And of course, we'll finish up with Bang Bang!'s inimitable pies.
Cocktails made possible by Pernod Ricard, The Whistler, and expertly crafted by cocktail wizard Jacyara de Oliveira (from a highly anticipated new bar--hint: it'll be at 111 W. Hubbard). Locally-crafted beer will flow from Half Acre Beer Company.
To satiate your audible appetite, your ears can chow down on low-key tunes from a surprise musical guest. Plus a backyard dinner wouldn't be complete without yard games.
