Event description

Description

Please join members of the Tennessee Educational Equity Coalition for a full day of learning about Tennessee's ESSA plan and what it will mean for students, schools and communities across the state.

Our featured speaker is Daria Hall, who is Vice President for Government Affairs and Communications at the Education Trust in Washington, D.C.

Attendees will get a history and overview of the Every Student Succeeds Act, and will participate in an in-depth examination of the key pieces of the Tennessee plan. We will also equip attendees to share this important information with their local networks and community members. We encourage Coalition organizations to bring a team to the Bootcamp.

Attendees will be sent a a list of pre-reading materials two weeks prior to the ESSA Bootcamp.

There is no cost to attend, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
