Mayor’s Solarize NYC Program Seeks Community Partners
The NYC Solar Partnership is holding a public information session at Queens College, CUNY, in the Muyskens Conference Room in the Summit Residence Hall for community organizations and stakeholders interested in helping their community “go solar” through Solarize NYC.
Designated parking for this function will be in parking fields 5 and 14.

The Solarize NYC program supports community-led campaigns that bring together groups of potential solar customers through widespread outreach and education.
The NYC Solar Partnership will help successful applicants conduct a solarize campaign by providing resources that include:
Financial support to organize and run a solarize campaign
Marketing materials and templates from Solarize NYC
Technical assistance from the City’s Solar Ombudsmen
Connections to partner organizations
Educational materials and workshops
Guidance in selecting solar installation companies
Solarize campaigns reduce installation and customer acquisition costs by 20-30% through economies of scale!
