Did you know that as of June 2016, about 3/4 or 73% of power plant output in the Philippines is concentrated in Luzon?
It's one of the main reasons why there are brownouts in many parts of Mindanao. There just isn't enough power to go around. And then it takes 5 years to have a power plant build and running. Dahil karamihan ng kuryente sa Pilipinas ay napupunta sa Luzon, halos 1/4 na lang ang natitira para paghatian ng Visayas at Mindanao.
Luckily for us we can turn to the sun's energy for power. This is where we come in. In partnership with Feniflux, we will explain and bring the benefits of solar energy to Mindanao. All you need is some roof space, solar panels, mounting system, some protection circuits, and an inverter. We will teach all the fundamentals you need to install a small to medium sized solar power system on your roof.
In our seminars, we discuss the different solar power system technologies available in the Philippines today and how to design and install a solar power system on your roof. Among the topics to be discussed are:
1) path and power of the sun and how to determine the correct orientation of the solar panels
2) different types of solar panels and how to determine is quality and reliability
3) how to choose and determine the different solar power system components in a solar power system
4) pricing and return on investment (ROI) of a solar power system
Our seminar has been attended by over 133 participants already from 14 different seminar offerings since October 2014. Some have come from as far as Bicol and Tuguegarao just to learn about solar technology and our installation procedures and techniques.
Main speaker will be Gregory "Gerry" Divino. Gerry graduated with a BS Physics/Computer Engineering degree from Ateneo de Manila University and a MS in Engineering Studies from University of Wollongong. Before starting Amatera Solar Technology, Inc. in January of 2014, he worked for ROHM LSI Design Phils, Inc., as an R&D Manager.
