Software Carpentry Boot Camp – Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 9:00 AM - Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 5:00 PM (PDT)
This boot camp is an example-driven two-day workshop on basic computing skills. Short tutorials alternate with hands-on practical exercises, and participants are encouraged both to help one another, and to try applying what they have learned to their own research problems during and between sessions.
The class will be in Conference Room 238 at the NERSC facility in Oakland at 415 20th Street ("Thomas L Berkley Way"), Oakland CA.
Participants should bring their own laptops to work on.
