Soft Hacking - Sept 2011
Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
Soft Hacking? Geeks with Thread?
What is it? A gathering of geeks with computerized machines that work with cloth and thread. We don't really know what to call it - but it will be fun!
Bring your embroidery machine, sewing machine, serger, etc. and some materials to use / trade / give to others – lets show each other what we know in an informal setting. Don’t have a machine, but want to learn how these things work – please join us!
This is a no-cost event for non-members. Materials donations (before or at the event) or cash donations (the donation ticket type is easiest) are appreciated, but not required.
If you are seriously into this stuff, we’d like to make sure you have a great space at the event, drop us an email so we can feature your equipment, your past work, and your skills!
Contact classes familab org for more information or to volunteer for the event.
*Children must be accompanied by an adult
